Virgin Galactic Boeing 747-800i FlightSim Workshop announces the launch of our original paint scheme of the fictional Virgin Galactic Boeing 747-800i. We have developed this unique livery to join the greatness of the 747-8i with the extraordinary project of Virgin Galactic. This fictional aircraft has all the original elements of Virgin Galactic's corporate identity, with the famous "eye" in the tail, using the original "Galactic font", an image of the moon representing the universe and the traditional logo of the galactic astronaut with the Virgin Galactic flag. Of course Virgin Galactic will have its special spaceships to send people to space in commercial flights, so this 747-800 would be used to fly passengers from Europe or other parts of the world to Spaceport America in New Mexico, where all space flights will depart. I comment about King-Air 200 (KA-200) Carenado (payware). Searching in the web a turboprop aircraft like ATR-72, etc, to add a VC cockpit that I have found so far, in this search I found good reviews on King-Air 200 from Carenado to is a magnificent plane and wanted to compare with the King-Air 90 (KA-90) that I have installed in FSX. I obtain this plane KA-200, and install it. I like to fly this turboprop because it has a great performance in his power takeoff, climb, cruise, descent and landing. Also I make a test flight with an engine failure after rotation speed (VR) and it is stable to climb with one engine and around the emergency procedure in landing instruments, and everything works perfect. FSX Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Textures Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look! It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat). The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descentometer, kneeboard and overhead panel. The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats. Almost 43 years ago the 747 took off for the first time. The crowds gathered in Everett to witness history, the TV crews took their positions and the guests couldn't believe that enormous and mighty piece of engineering would take off and become the most successful airplane in commercial aviation. Few or none would have believed in that cold and gray February day of 1969 that decades would pass and the 747 would continue being a vital asset for the industry. As of 2012, 1,448 747s have been built, and around 3.5 billion people have experienced the delight of flying in it. The aircraft has obviously evolved and apart from its external design, very few elements of the early 747s remain in the newest versions of the plane. This is a VC texture upgrade for the FSX-B747 Upgraded  Cockpit advanced. I have made some changes to the textures to view like a real an modern flight deck B747. You can see the difference between the normal VC and the new textures that are awesome, so take a look to the images below.
